The work you see onsite starts with the work you don't see behind the scenes.

A great evening spent with the Premier Jeremy Rockliff and Felix Ellis MP hosted by Launceston Chamber of Commerce.

One of the things we’ve learnt at WELSS is that sometimes it’s not about changing the person, it’s about finding where they work best.

Olivia originally worked with our day cleaning team and, as you’ll hear, she still misses the clients she got to know along the way.

She now works with our Twilight Ninja team, where she’s found a work pattern that suits her better and gives her the space to really focus on the quality of her work.

And anyone who knows Olivia knows she is VERY particular about her work 😂

Different people thrive in different environments.

Part of our job as leaders is figuring out what that looks like.

See the L plate? We’re actually pretty proud of that.

Growth at WELSS doesn’t always mean a promotion, a new title or another qualification.

Sometimes it’s simply learning something new and having someone beside you willing to give you a go.

We don’t expect people to walk through our doors knowing everything. We want our team to learn, ask questions, build confidence and develop skills along the way.

And sometimes that means learning to drive in a WELSS vehicle.

So if you see one of our cars getting around with an L plate on it, maybe give them a little extra room 😂

There’s someone behind that wheel working towards something.

And we reckon that’s worth supporting.

📣 WE’RE HIRING!

We’re looking for a Maintenance Administration & Scheduling Officer to join the WELSS team.

We need someone who loves organisation, notices the details, communicates confidently and gets a little bit of satisfaction from making sure everything is exactly where it should be. 😄

It’s a busy role supporting our Maintenance Department — keeping jobs, schedules, communication and administration moving in the right direction.

If you’re proactive, organised and the type of person who sees something that needs doing and thinks, “I’ve got it” — we’d love to hear from you.

Know someone who would be a great fit for WELSS? Tag them or send this their way.

🎓 Congratulations John, Skye & Cindy!

We’re incredibly proud to congratulate John Singline, Skye Harkins and Cindy Penno on graduating with their Certificate IV in Leadership and Management through SCALA Training.

At WELSS, we believe leadership isn’t just a title. It’s about accountability, taking ownership, supporting the people around you and having the courage to keep learning and growing.

Developing our people and creating opportunities for our team to grow into leadership roles is an important part of the future of WELSS

John, Skye and Cindy have put in the work, challenged themselves and continued to develop as leaders and today we get to celebrate that achievement.

Congratulations, you earned this!

A big thank you to SCALA the Training Company for continuing to invest in, challenge and support our people.

A little Friday motivation from WELSS…

If you’re ever feeling insignificant, remember:

One p***c hair can shut down an entire restaurant.

Never underestimate the impact you can have.

Be the p***c hair. 😂

Happy Friday!
