Every creation starts long before the workshop, in the lands of Madagascar where our materials are harvested.
Wild silk, Raffia, Soga, Vetiver, wrought iron, Antemoro paper, all handcrafted, using methods passed down from generation to generation.
These choices of natural materials guide all Mada collective creations: it determines the texture of each piece, the technique used to shape it, and the purpose it is meant for.

I believe in slow design.
I aim to preserve and honor traditional Malagasy artistry.
And I love the idea of limited edition, small-batch homewares & accessories that can be admired for a very long time.

There is something very soulful and loving about all Mada collective products.
I believe the special energy they have is largely due to the very unique way in which they are handmade.

Regardless of how extremely tough it is to survive running a small business today, I believe in the great talent and excellence of my artisans and I am passionate & committed!
I specifically focus on the use of handmade techniques, traditional craftsmanship and sustainable materials by combining timeless design, handicraft, culture, remote communities and all things beautiful, to provide unique lifestyle products from Madagascar ❤️🤍💚
