SGA Balustrades

Proud to see SGA Balustrades featured in Beaches Covered magazine — page 31 👌

With summer around the corner, now’s the perfect time to take a proper look at your pool fence.

From frameless glass pool fencing to aluminium and steel fencing, we can help upgrade tired pool areas while also checking the things that matter — gates, latches, heights, gaps and overall compliance.

A good-looking fence is one thing.
A compliant one isn’t optional.

Every now and then, we like to give back to the community that supports us. 💛
Recently we had the chance to supply and install handrails for a local family at the front porch making it safer and easier to get around at home.
Fabricated in our factory, powdercoated in Woodland Grey, and installed by Rory and Will.
Seeing the difference it makes is the best part of what we do. Thank you to the family for letting us share this. 🙏

Happy National Family Business Day 🇦🇺

Behind SGA Balustrades are two very familiar faces — Wendy & Warren “Wazza”.

SGA is more than just balustrades, glass and metalwork. It’s a family business built on hard work, long days, plenty of problem solving, and a shared passion for creating quality work we’re proud to put our name to.

From quoting and organising jobs, to fabrication, installation and everything that happens behind the scenes, we’re proud to work side by side and keep building SGA together.

A huge thank you to our team, our customers, builders, suppliers and everyone who continues to support our family business. It genuinely means a lot.

And getting to hold an Australian Fencing Award together makes the journey even sweeter. 🏆

Something special is coming… 👀

We’ve been working on this Northern Beaches project and we’re holding back the full reveal for just a little longer.

Custom raked curved glass, clean lines and a finish that’s going to look unreal when you see the full job.

Full project reveal coming soon.

R U OK? Day 2026 💛

At SGA Balustrades, we spend our days building things — but today is a reminder that sometimes the most important thing we can build is a connection with the people around us.

This year’s message is “Ask R U OK? Any Day.” Because checking in with a mate, workmate, family member or someone who just doesn’t seem themselves shouldn’t be limited to one day a year.

You don’t need to have all the answers. Sometimes just asking “Are you OK?”, listening properly and giving someone the time to talk can make a bigger difference than you realise.

So today, check in on your mates — and keep checking in tomorrow too.

A conversation could change a life. 💛

Spring’s here and summer isn’t far away ☀️🏊‍♂️

Now’s the perfect time to give your pool gate a quick 10-point safety check before the busy swimming season kicks off.

✅ Does it open outwards?
✅ Does it self-close and self-latch properly?
✅ Is the latch at the correct height?
✅ Are the hinges and latch working smoothly and securely?

A pool gate can look fine but still fail where it matters.

If anything on the checklist doesn’t pass, get in touch with SGA Balustrades. We can inspect, repair, adjust or replace your pool fencing and gates to help make sure your pool area is safe and ready for summer.

📩 DM us or contact SGA Balustrades if any of the above don’t get a tick✅
