Not every difficult-access job is on the outside of a building.
Yesterday in Wollongong the work was inside a vertical shaft. No room for a platform, no safe way to reach the steelwork from a ladder, and nothing to stand on once you're in there.
So we ran it as a rope access job in a confined space: rigging from above, one technician on the ropes doing the cutting, and a standby technician outside the shaft the whole time, with a rescue plan in place before anyone went in.
Different setup from a façade, same principle. If the access problem is solved properly, the actual work is the easy part.
If you manage a building with a shaft, riser or void that nobody wants to go into, that is usually where we can help.
