Welcome to Denise’s home at Margate. We were asked by Denise to remove her old tiles and bring her place to life with new vinyl plank flooring and lush carpet in the bedrooms.

Just finished a beautiful new floor lay for a rental property in Clontarf. Elevating the space with a 2.5mm vinyl giving a fresh coastal vibe, along with new carpet to match the new paint job.

How to cook: "The Perfect Vinyl Flooring" 🍰

Serves: one very happy household
Prep time: worth every minute

Ingredients 🍫

〰️ 1 beautifully selected vinyl, chosen to suit your home and style
〰️ A generous helping of hard set glue
〰️ A dash of silicone and a trusty paddle pop stick
〰️ 1 or 2 trusted tradies (non-negotiable)

Method 🥄

〰️ Remove any loose material from the floor.
〰️ Build a solid base, levelled to industry standard tolerance of +/- 3mm over 2m.
〰️ Prime the floor with a roller or brush.
〰️ Mix and pour your levelling compound, then smooth it out like icing.
〰️ Dry lay your vinyl, then stack it to the side.
〰️ Spread the glue with a trowel and lay your vinyl.
〰️ Roll it smooth so every piece bonds perfectly.
〰️ Let rest until set, then serve and enjoy for years to come.
