NOVA is often mistaken for stainless steel because of the cool gray tone, but it's zinc-alloy with a brushed nickel finish — a different base metal and a different plating process entirely. Brushed nickel tends to run slightly warmer than stainless and resists fingerprints better, which is part of why it's a common choice for high-touch hardware like drawer pulls. Not stainless. LUX and AIRY share the same brushed nickel finish in two proportions — LUX at 5" for drawers, AIRY at 3.75" for smaller doors or narrow drawer fronts. Running one finish across both sizes keeps a kitchen from looking like it was hardware-shopped in two separate trips. Same finish, different scale — an easy way to keep a kitchen consistent.
