Get behind it.....
A change is not only needed, it's long overdue!!!!

Melbourne, we have had enough.

It seems every morning we wake up to more news of aggravated burglaries, stolen cars and those responsible being granted bail.

Daily we get calls and messages of Melbournians who are sick of not feeling safe in their own homes. Instead of action we get empty words from our leaders. Enough is enough, it is time for reform.

Join our campaign to petition the Victorian Parliament, it's time for action, bring about bail reform for repeat offenders that puts the community first and holds offenders accountable. Now.

When tenants say the can smell a 'mouldy odour' in the hallway..... it's usually the sign of something deeper....... as in this case:

Mould odour in the hallway..... lift the carpet - wet and rotted timber subfloor. Deeper we go.....

Failed or incorrectly applied waterproofing......look what we ended up with:

--------- >Moulded and rotted carpet
--------- >Rot and deterioration of timber sub floor
--------- >Severley water logged and damged timber studs (wall, shower, bath)
--------- >Water logged and destroyed door jamb and skirting

Check the photos!!!!

Enter the team at First Up Maintenance & Construction to resolve the problems, and rebuild the bathroom:

--------- > Demo entire bathroom
--------- > Replace damaged studs and sub floor
--------- > Install cement sheeting to floor ( there was none originally!!!!)
--------- > Waterproof to Aust Standards
--------- > New tiles, showerscreen, and paint
--------- > New carpet
--------- > New showerscreen and mirror

We have a New Bathroom!!!! 😃😃😃

Many thanks to the team behind the team.....

Mould growth in the bathroom is one of the most common complaints for homeowners and tenants alike.

The team at First Up Maintenance & Construction , being specialists in rental maintenance, come across this issue almost daily. With years of experience and practice dealing with mould, we have now teamed up with an Australian owned company, Bushby's - to help tackle this common issue.

Bushby's, by there own admission, are a family owned company that manufactures a wide range of eco-friendly cleaning products for resellers and wholesalers. With companies and the general public becoming more aware of the environment and our impact on the earth, we feel that it is important to manufacture and supply greener cleaning products to companies and suppliers throughout Australia.

First Up now use Bushby's products, for everything mould.... and the results simply speak for themselves....

Check out the photos of our most recent application... a small bathroom, small apartment, minimal ventilation, and hundreds of black mould spores covering the walls and ceiling...... until we arrived, with Bushby's product, and our specilised application technique.....

The photos will tell the rest of the story......

Every so often we get a specific request, for a specific item(s) to be made, as was the case with this delightful customer who asked us if we could make a fixed bench and 2 mobile seats to suit her existing table.

Bench secured under the window, with internal storage, and side seats on discreet wheels

She sent us a photo of what she hoped to get, see photo1, and left the rest to us.....

This is what she got....

Needless to.say, she was one Very Happy Customer.

Another great colab with Handy Bob , and another great showing of Team Work makes the Dream Work.....

Great work guys. 🤛
