DPP Hydronic Heating

DPP Hydronic Heating Hydronic Heating Installers We are known in the hydronic heating industry as the 'go to company' for installation of hydronic heating systems.

This is because we keep up to date with latest heating technologies, work with some of the biggest architects and suppliers, and above all get the project completed on time and on budget.

Some of the systems our service team looks after went in more than a decade ago. Our technicians arrive with that home’s full history, so nobody has to explain their system to a stranger.

The best hydronic outcomes are decided on paper, long before anyone is on site.

👉🏻 Swipe through the four worth locking in at design stage, then send us the plans early and we’ll review them with you

Once the slab is poured, the hydronic layout is locked in. Anything decided after that becomes a workaround, and workarounds rarely look as good or perform as well.

Zoning decides which parts of the home can be heated and controlled separately. Bedrooms and living areas rarely want the same temperature at the same time, so it’s worth settling early with the client.

Every floor finish changes how heat reaches the room. Stone and tile pass warmth through readily, while thick timber and carpet slow it down, so the design needs to account for what goes on top.

Manifolds and plant need space and service access. Drawing them into the plans early saves a cupboard being lost late in the build, or a unit ending up somewhere it’s seen.

A heat pump or a gas boiler, for example, will shape running costs and how the system performs over the years. It also affects where the plant sits and how much room it needs.

Lock these in at design stage and everyone downstream works from the same page. The builder can quote accurately, and nothing gets decided on site in a hurry.

Send the drawings through and we’ll flag anything worth adjusting before it reaches site.

”Why isn’t the floor warm yet?” usually comes up in the first week, so we answer it at commissioning.

We balance each zone, then show the homeowner how radiant heat behaves. It builds slowly, so the thermostat works best when it’s set and left alone.

Radiant heat is hard to explain on a floor plan, and much easier to feel underfoot.

If a heating decision is holding things up, bring your client to our Mordialloc showroom and let the floor do the convincing.

“What’s actually in this number?”

A single figure with no breakdown gives you nothing to compare, and the gaps tend to surface on site, when they cost the most to fix.

That detail is what our team works through behind the scenes, so builders can see exactly what’s going in before anything is signed.

Programs move, and the hydronics should move with them.

When the dates shift, our scheduling team rebooks the crew and confirms the site is ready the night before. You won’t need to chase us.

Got a program coming up? Send us the plans, and we’ll figure out your next best steps together.

In-slab hydronic heating warms the floor, and the floor warms the room. There’s nothing to design around on the walls or ceiling, just steady, even comfort.

👉🏻 Swipe through, then send this to a client weighing up their options.

Warm water runs through pipes set into the concrete. The slab slowly takes on that warmth and releases it into the room above, with nothing blowing around and no noise.

Radiant heat warms people and surfaces, not just the air. The room holds a steady temperature, with far fewer cold spots near windows and doors.

With no ducts, grilles or wall units, architects keep their clean lines and interiors stay uncluttered. It’s a big part of why architects like working with it.

A slab takes time to come up to temperature, so it doesn’t respond instantly the way forced air does. Once it’s there, it holds steady and runs quietly in the background all season.

The best systems are designed around how the home will be lived in, with separate zones for sleeping and living areas. Then they’re commissioned and fine-tuned so the comfort matches the plan.

Bring your plans to our Mordialloc showroom and stand on a warm slab before you decide.

Twenty years in, and some of the faces on our sites and in our inbox have been with us for most of them.

To the builders who keep coming back, the team who’ve stayed, and every new builder finding their way to us: thank you. We’re only just getting started 🤍

Builders who loop us in early get a smoother run every time.

The ones who bring us in after the pour are usually working around a decision that’s already been made.
