Climax Air Conditioning has been delivering commercial air conditioning and mechanical services across NSW since 1989. From our offices in Nowra and Unanderra, we service the Shoalhaven, Illawarra, Southern Highlands and Sydney. We provide design, engineering, installation and maintenance for commercial, healthcare, aged care, education, industrial and government projects – from plant replacements and Minor Works to large-scale new builds. Our team includes Chartered Engineers and PMP-certified project managers, and we are ISO 9001, 14001 and 45001 certified. We partner with builders, facility managers and government clients, with planned maintenance and 24/7 service support.

Excellence in Medium Business

The Excellence in Medium Business Award, recognising businesses with 21–99 employees, is a significant achievement for Climax and reflects the continued growth of the business, the strength of our team and the commitment we bring to every project.

For more than 35 years, Climax has grown from its beginnings in the Shoalhaven into a team of more than 65 people delivering commercial air conditioning and mechanical services projects across the Shoalhaven, Illawarra and Sydney regions.

While the size and capability of the business have changed significantly over that time, our focus has remained consistent: investing in our people, building strong relationships and delivering quality work we can be proud of.

The judging process included a detailed written submission and finalist interview, providing an opportunity to showcase not only the work we deliver, but also the people, culture, systems and values that support the business behind the scenes.

The Excellence in Medium Business Award belongs to the entire Climax team. From our tradespeople and site teams to our project managers, engineers, service technicians and office staff, every person plays a role in the success of the business.

Outstanding Employee
The evening was made even more special with Business Operations Manager Allison Bielski receiving the Outstanding Employee Award.

Allison has been part of Climax for more than 10 years and has played an important role in the continued development of the business across operations, systems, people and organisational improvement. Being recognised by an independent judging panel is a significant achievement and one we are incredibly proud to celebrate.

Both awards reflect the people behind Climax and the professionalism, teamwork and pride they bring to the business every day.

We would also like to thank our clients, suppliers and industry partners who have supported Climax and been part of our story over many years.

These awards are an important milestone for the business, but more importantly, they are recognition of the collective effort that continues to move Climax forward.

Climax Air Movember Wrap-Up 2025

As Movember has come to a close (and the mo’s are gone!), we want to say a massive thank you to everyone at Climax Air who got involved, backed the cause, and helped start important conversations.

This year, our team showed up in a big way:
• 22 team members got on board
• A serious amount of facial hair was grown (some glorious, some questionable… all for a great cause)
• We clocked up 480+ kilometres moved through walking, running, riding and more
• We raised an incredible $6,640 for men’s health

Why it matters
While the moustaches and kilometres were fun, Movember is about something much bigger:
raising awareness and supporting men’s health, including prostate cancer, testicular cancer, mental health, and su***de prevention.

The real win this month was the conversations sparked, the support shown, and the visibility we brought to issues that affect so many men, families and communities.

Your support helped make this campaign meaningful, and every contribution plays a part in changing the stats for men’s health.

This Movember we are shining a light on men’s health in Australia.

🔹 Prostate cancer is the most commonly diagnosed cancer in Australian men — 1 in 6 will be diagnosed in their lifetime, and around 55 men are diagnosed every day.
🔹 Testicular cancer is the most common cancer in young men aged 15–39.
🔹 Men also face a silent crisis in mental health — they account for 75% of su***de deaths, and su***de is the leading cause of death for men aged 15–44.

Movember exists to change these stats — funding life-saving research and supporting better mental health and su***de prevention for men everywhere.
