Every great home renovation starts with a vision. A grand hallway that catches the afternoon light. An open-plan living space that feels airy yet warm. A floor that sets the tone for every room it connects.

Historically, achieving that luxury herringbone finish meant accepting delicate hardwood that required endless maintenance and constant protection from moisture.

With LocalTasker's 8.5mm Natural Oak Hybrid Herringbone, you no longer have to compromise on style or practicality. Designed with a 100% waterproof core, you can now carry the seamless elegance of herringbone continuously across your entire floor plan, from your main living areas straight into your kitchen and dining spaces.

• 100% Waterproof construction for worry-free open-plan living

• High scratch resistance designed for modern interiors

Architectural quality starting from $26.50 / sqm + GST.

🚫 Reasons You Shouldn’t Buy Herringbone Flooring 🚫
• You’ll suddenly find yourself staring at the floor more than your TV.
• Every guest will somehow end up complimenting your flooring before anything else in the house.
• Regular straight planks will start looking a little... basic.
• You’ll catch yourself taking unnecessary photos of your living room.
• Walking barefoot becomes a premium experience.

So yes, if you enjoy ordinary floors, hate compliments, and prefer not being obsessed with your own home... herringbone probably isn’t for you. 😉

Herringbone floors start at $26.50/sqm + GST.
We also provide amazing installation and renovation services.
