BOTANICA A new collection by Louise Olsen and Stephen Ormandy inspired by the wonder and beauty of nature. Botanica’s homewares and jewellery explores bud and leaf-like forms, hand casted in a gelato palette of pastel colours.

“Using a flowering bud as our inspiring source, Botanica is a celebration and continuation of the soft form and sculptural elements that are intrinsic to our creative language”, Stephen Ormandy

“We love gelato’s watering down of colour, the way it keeps the pigment of a colour but dilutes it in a soft way”,” Louise Olsen.

For Botanica’s campaign, Dinosaur Designs collaborated with long-time friend and Australian culinary luminary Sean Moran, with his iconic North Bondi restaurant Seans setting the scene for the collection’s visuals. Inspired by the themes and colours of Botanica, for the occasion Sean also created a custom menu that celebrates the natural harmony between Dinosaur Designs’ handmade tableware and his artful use of Australian produce.
“Anything and everything Dinosaur Designs makes has a tactile sensuality to it - much like food, so an opportunity to collaborate in celebration of their new Botanica range feels like natural synchronicity. I am thrilled to play a part”, Sean Moran.

Step inside the feast and explore the new collection online and in-store today.
