As we wrap up another huge year at Designer Hideaways, our team will be taking a well-earned break over the holidays.

Artist Patrick Duffy has transformed his garden studio into a one-of-a-kind creative space — part workshop, part gallery, and full of character. Filled with handmade pieces, shelves of inspiration, and a perfectly placed workbench, it’s a space that truly reflects his practice.

Chris and his partner recently built their Haven studio from the ground up on a bush block in NSW. No builder, no crew — just the two of them, working steadily through the stages with patience, teamwork, and a helping hand when needed.

From first panel to final flashing, they saw it through at their own pace — and the result is something to be proud of.
