🌿 **Meet our favourite Garden Gate Farm helpers!** 🌿🐔

A garden is always better with good company, and we’re very lucky to have some pretty special friends who love spending time here with us. 💚

First up is **Honey** 🐶 — our beautiful girl and self-appointed garden supervisor!

Honey loves nothing more than digging, playing with empty pots and coming along on our daily walks around the garden to see what’s growing. But her favourite job is checking on **“The Girls”**.

🐔 **The Girls** are our Isa Browns, and they’re always busy helping out around the garden. They happily enjoy our garden and food scraps, scratch around helping turn the soil and do their best to keep the weeds under control.

And when it’s time to collect the eggs, Honey is right there beside me, making sure everything is done properly! 🥚🐶

They may not be the most conventional farm helpers, but they certainly make our days in the garden more fun.

**Honey & The Girls — an important part of the Garden Gate Farm family.** 🌱💚

💐 Locally Grown Bouquets Are Coming Soon! 🌸

We’ve been quietly growing, planting, nurturing and patiently waiting… and soon we’ll be able to share something we’ve been dreaming about for Garden Gate Farm.

🌿 Our very first locally grown flower bouquets! 🌿

From seeds planted here at Garden Gate Farm, to tiny seedlings, to the first beautiful blooms — every flower has been grown with care right here in our garden.

Our spring and summer flower garden is filling with zinnias, strawflowers, snapdragons, cornflowers, ranunculus and so many more beautiful varieties. 🌸🌼🌷

We’re still a few weeks away from our first bouquets, but the garden is starting to give us little glimpses of what’s to come.

And we can’t wait to create bouquets filled with flowers grown locally, picked fresh and arranged with love. 💕

This is just the beginning of our flower journey, and we’d love for you to follow along as we grow from our very first bloom to our very first bouquet.

🌱 Garden grown. Locally picked. Coming soon. 💐

Would you love to see locally grown bouquets available from Garden Gate Farm?

🌸 Something beautiful is about to bloom at Garden Gate Farm… 🌸

Our ranunculus are getting so close to flowering, and we couldn’t be more excited! 🌱💕

These little buds have been quietly growing away, and now we’re starting to see those gorgeous, tightly packed flower heads forming.

Ranunculus are one of our favourites for the cut flower garden. They produce beautifully layered, rose-like blooms with delicate, almost paper-like petals and come in an amazing range of colours. 🌸

They’re also fantastic cut flowers, with strong stems and blooms that can last beautifully in a vase — making them a wonderful addition to spring bouquets.

We planted these with the hope of having some beautiful early-season flowers to enjoy while the rest of our spring garden is waking up.

And now the exciting part…

👀 Our first flower is almost ready to open!

But what colour will it be? 🤔🌸

❤️ Red
💗 Pink
💛 Yellow
🤍 White
🧡 Orange
💜 Purple

What do you think our very first ranunculus bloom of the season will be?

Make your prediction below! 👇🌸

We’ll reveal the first bloom when it finally opens! 💚

🌱🌸 New seeds, new beginnings! 🌸🌱

There’s a lot happening behind the scenes at Garden Gate Farm at the moment!

We’ve been planting our new season seeds and getting our little seedlings started indoors, giving them a head start while we wait for the cooler weather to pass. 🌱

We have a mix of flower seeds from some wonderful Australian seed suppliers including

🌱 The Seed Collection Pty Ltd

Among the flowers getting started are Zinnias, Carnations, Scabiosa and Baby’s Breath, along with plenty more to come!

There’s something pretty exciting about looking at a tray of tiny seedlings and knowing that in a few months they could become armfuls of flowers and fresh produce. 💚

For now, they’re getting plenty of warmth, light and attention indoors while we patiently wait for spring.

Tiny seeds today… beautiful blooms and harvests tomorrow! 🌱🌸

We’ll be sharing their progress as they grow, so follow along and watch our spring garden come to life with us. 🌿

🌸 Zinnias are coming to Garden Gate Farm! 🌸

After having such a successful first season growing zinnias last year, we’re officially a little bit obsessed! 😍🌸

So this year, we’ve gone bigger — and we’re growing a much larger collection of zinnias, with different shapes, colours and varieties that we can’t wait to see blooming together.

Our 2026 zinnia garden includes:

🤍 Polar Bear
🍊 Queeny Lime with Orange
💚 Queeny Lime Blotch
💜 Zinderella Lilac
🤍 Zinderella White
🍑 Zinderella Peach
🌸 Salmon Queen
🌈 Benary Giant Mix
🌈 Queen Mix
💕 ‘Blushing Bride’
🌸 Pastel Mix
🍂 Autumn Sky Mix
🌼 Lilliput Mix

And this is only part of the flower garden we have planned for spring and summer! 🌱

We love zinnias because they are such generous garden flowers — the more we cut, the more they keep producing. Perfect for filling our future Garden Gate Farm bouquets with colour and personality. 💐

Right now, many of these are still tiny seeds and seedlings, so we’re patiently waiting for the magic to happen…

From seed → seedling → first bloom → armfuls of flowers. 🌱🌸

We can’t wait to take you along for the journey and eventually see these beautiful varieties making their way into our bouquets.

Which zinnia would you most like to see blooming? 👇🌸
