You know it's going to be a good day when you're home before lunch on a Saturday.

Removed some recessed plug-in fluorescent lights and patched them up.
Also fixed 2 mesh tape cracks in the bathroom while I was at it.

Built-in pantry removed ✅Walls patched and set ✅Ceiling patched and cornice installed ✅

What an absolute mission this was to remove! There was so much fibreglass strapping to cut before this dome would even budge and even then I had to cut it into 8 bits to remove safely as it was so heavy.

But I got there in the end and the new owners of the house are happy now that this 'monstrosity' (their words, not mine!) is gone.

Big thank you to all the amazing clients I've had the privilege of doing work for and a massive thank you to Chris at and Alan & Andrew at for the constant work throughout the year.

Looking forward to having some time away from the tools and spending time with family.

This house is having a complete makeover!

New ceilings and cornice throughout and the exposed brick walls in the living room, entry and kitchen were covered up.

Just have to wait for the tilers to finish the wet areas and I can go back to install the cornice.

Been a minute since I've posted 😬

This one was originally just going to be standard flat ceilings but after a bit of back and forth between the client, the chippy and myself we settled with this to give the home a bigger feel.

Raked ceiling in the bedroom, which is finished with P50 shadowline and will have a VJ panelling feature wall.

Vaulted ceiling in the living room which is again finished with P50 shadowline on the vaulted sides and Aria cornice by on the flats.

Walls were removed in the kitchen/dining area to give an open living feel. Damaged plasterglass ceiling was removed and replaced in the process. skylights were installed where the dining room table will sit and another was installed in the entryway.

Absolutely stocked with how this one has turned out. All flushed by hand aswell 😁
