Seeing our designs come to life, never gets old.

Last week we visited two projects in construction at Geegeelup Village in Bridgetown. Initially engaged to prepare a master plan for the site, KPA was then engaged to prepare DA and Construction documentation for the first two stages: the Clubhouse and Staff Housing.

The Clubhouse construction is well underway, and although the Staff Housing is still in its early stages, the concrete pads are down and one structure has commenced. We look forward to seeing the final result!

KPA are proud to have been involved in the design of these two great projects, which will enhance the lives of seniors in the south-west region of Western Australia.

Ellenbrook Specialist Disability Accommodation Homes

Congratulations to the Autism Association of Western Australia (AAWA) on their two new homes. AAWA appointed Habilitas to project manage and KPA Architects to design the two four-bedroom homes, which were delivered with the help of a $1,057,644 Community Housing New Build Grant from the State Government. KPA were proud to be involved in this great project designed specifically for adults living with Autism. Todd Paterson, who was the Development Manager, would like to extend special thanks to Lara-Ann Liebenberg and Alec Johnson for their efforts.

Rising expectations for wellbeing‑centred environments are pushing providers to demonstrate quality‑of‑life outcomes. And gardens can deliver exactly that: sensory stimulation, mobility confidence, social connection, and calmer dementia‑friendly spaces. For specialist design accommodation gardens enhance autonomy and reduce behavioural distress. And the added good news is that gardens enable providers to meet the higher expectations and standards relatively affordably.
