Spent most of the day doing my other job - yep! Gardening! 🪏 🌹

There's something about getting outdoors, getting grubby, and working hard that can make you feel so happy, alive, free ...and eventually.. exhausted! 😝 BUT in the best way!

Hope you are all having a great weekend so far, and you get to play around in your outdoor or indoor garden - or someone else's! Or the park, the beach, the hills, a bush walk ..anywhere that takes your mind to another place for a well deserved rest. 🤩

Oh!

And if you need plants and gifts delivered, that's what we do on weekdays !

Monday Wednesday and Friday deliveries available. Check out our plant menu, place your order, and we do all the rest for you.

Another job to add to the never-ending list of household chores. ✍🏾😂

Did you know that on a hot Perth day the temperature right beside a sunny window can be much higher than the temperature elsewhere in the room.?

Have you ever fried 🔥 a plant without realising until it's too late? ✋🏾 😭

A plant sitting close to glass on a hot day can overheat, even when you have air con running.

We all know that Perth's afternoon sun can be particularly harsh, and for indoor plants this is also true, especially through west facing windows.

Many indoor plants enjoy gentle morning sunshine, but in the warmer seasons, can develop scorched leaves if left exposed all day to the intense afternoon sun as well.

Unfortunately scorched sunburnt leaves don't recover. 😢 BUT the plant can if you rescue it in time and move it to a better spot.

A plant that thrives by a window in a July may struggle in that spot if it's too hot in December!

Tip:
Move your plants seasonally 💋
