A little water goes a long way. 🌿

Adding a bird bath to your garden is a simple way to support local wildlife, providing birds, bees and other little visitors with a place to drink and cool off during the warmer months.

Position your bird bath in an open space where birds can easily spot approaching predators, but close enough to trees or shrubs for a quick escape.

Add a few stones for insects to perch on and remember to keep the water fresh.

A small addition that brings so much life to a garden.

The Seedling Exchange for Nature Festival 🌱

We had the pleasure of working on the activation alongside the City of Adelaide Biodiversity Team, helping bring the living elements of the project to life.

As thousands of seeds are planted throughout Nature Festival, the pavilion will gradually transform into a collective nursery — a living record of many small acts of care. The seedlings will then make their way into homes, gardens, schools and community spaces across Adelaide.

We created wicking-bed planters using salvaged materials, along with a custom activation bench — exploring how reclaimed materials, productive planting and water-wise systems can form part of our urban spaces.

Open daily 11am–3pm + later on Fridays throughout Nature Festival.

Suns out ☀️ and what a great time to get in the garden.

Second Nature balcony garden for Melbourne Flower & Garden Show was designed as a small, connected garden system — bringing together salvaged and recycled materials, wicking beds, water capture, productive planting and habitat for biodiversity. A garden where every element had a purpose and materials were given a second life wherever possible.

We wanted to show that even in a small balcony space, you can create something productive, water-wise and full of life — while thinking a little differently about what we build gardens from.
