Chocolate is quickly becoming one of the biggest interior trends of the year.

The key? Use it as an accent through furniture, timber and styling, then pair it with timeless stone that lets those rich tones shine.

Which Granite Transformations colour would you choose?

Did you know our stone isn't just for benchtops and splashbacks?

It can also be used as flooring.

It's a fantastic option for bathrooms, where a seamless, fully waterproof floor means no grout lines(!!) to clean and a beautifully modern finish.

Or, if you've always loved the look of polished concrete, our stone flooring offers a low-maintenance alternative with all the warmth and character of natural stone.

Have you ever considered stone flooring?

Who says you have to choose just one surface? ✨

This kitchen is a great example. The 'Statumax' stone benchtop flows up the wall as a splashback, before giving way to classic subway tiles. The VJ rangehood adds another layer of texture, while the modern shaker-style cabinetry keeps everything feeling timeless. Add the black hardware and those beautiful timber window frames, and it all just works.

The trick isn't matching everything perfectly. It's choosing finishes that complement each other, so each feature has its moment without competing for attention.

We love how this one came together 🤍 Project by the team in Devonport, TAS Joinerydotcom

We loved this transformation from our Granite Transformations Gold Coast team!

It's another great example of how removing a raised breakfast bar and extending the benchtop can completely change the feel of a kitchen. Such a simple change, but it makes the whole space feel so much more open.

The existing benchtops and tiled splashbacks were resurfaced in Desert Bloom, giving this kitchen a fresh new lease on life.

We actually borrowed these photos from our customer's Google Review because they captured the transformation so beautifully. Thanks for letting us share your stunning new kitchen with everyone!

"Can your stone also go up the splashback?"

The answer is yes — and it's one of our favourite ways to transform a kitchen.

Using matching stone on both the benchtops and splashback creates a seamless, cohesive look that can make the whole space feel brighter, more modern and beautifully finished.

Whether your existing splashback is tile, glass, painted or even old stone, we can help you achieve the timeless look of stone benchtops and splashbacks flowing beautifully together.

The existing black stone already flowed from the benchtops up the splashbacks, so it made perfect sense to carry that same seamless look through with the new stone — only this time, creating a much lighter, fresher feel throughout the kitchen.

Imagine choosing a stone you love for your kitchen… then carrying those same beautiful tones through to the laundry, and even the bathroom. Life goals, really 🤍

Featured in this laundry is Desert Bloom - a warm, softly patterned stone that lends itself beautifully to creating a cohesive feel throughout the home.

The laundry might be one of the hardest-working rooms in the house, but that doesn't mean it can't be beautiful too. And when the colours and finishes flow from one space to another, the whole home just feels more considered and connected.

Can you resurface the inside of an appliance cabinet too?

It's one of the questions we're asked surprisingly often when people are considering stone overlay.

The answer is yes.

When we resurface your benchtops, we can also continue the same 7mm stone overlay into appliance cabinets, creating a seamless, built-in look throughout the kitchen.

For this transformation, we resurfaced the benchtops, splashbacks and the inside of the appliance cabinet in Bianca, giving the entire space a fresh, modern feel.

It's hard to believe these photos are of the same kitchen.

As featured on Selling Houses Australia, this transformation shows the power of updating the surfaces you see and touch every day. The original kitchen had solid foundations, but the dark timber cabinetry and heavily patterned benchtops and splashbacks had become dated over time.

By painting the cabinetry and resurfacing the benchtops and splashback in Kaolinite from our Marble Range, the entire space was given a fresh new lease on life. The result feels brighter, more contemporary and far more connected to the rest of the home.

A great reminder that sometimes the biggest transformations come from reimagining what you already have, rather than starting from scratch.

"What happens to the sink and cooktop?"

It's one of the most common questions we receive when people first hear about stone overlay.

During installation, the sink and cooktop are temporarily removed. Once the new stone surface has been installed over the existing benchtop, precise openings are cut and everything is reinstalled.

Many homeowners choose to take the opportunity to upgrade their sink or cooktop at the same time (like this one), but if you're happy with what you have, it goes straight back in.
