Jenny and Steve wanted a stylish new way to receive their parcels. They already had some merbau slats on a nearby fence and gate, so we came up with this.

We do hundreds of metres of weatherboards every year but this is our first experience with Block Face. To make things more complicated some had been previously replaced but didn't match the original size, and these replacements were slightly different again. The dilemma: You've got kids with too much energy, and you've just acquired a basketball hoop, but there's really no space for it to be used safely in the backyard, however there's a laneway at the back.
The solution: Fit a solid timber beam above the roller door, and attach the hoop to it.
The result: Happiness
