MDF acts as a sponge when water hits it.. especially if it's not 100% sealed... that's what happened to this double balcony door and laundry doorstep trims... MDF get used because its cheap... but cheap isn't good... old water damaged trims removed and a hardwood timber trim strip installed... fully painted before installing to seal it 👍🏼😊 do the job right and it only needs doing once 🤔😉

Concrete expansion gap (which previously had foam abelflex installed - which had disintegrated) filled with a polyurethane sealer - designed for movement and connection joints in concrete .... along with the movement crack that had formed between the path and render.. crack now sealed preventing moisture ingress. 👍🏼😊

A first for me... working in a 2 storey property where I don't have to carry my tools up the stairs.. thanks to this lift... well the smugness was short lived when the sparkles working there had to have the power off🤦!! So had to carry them down stairs anyway 🤣
A regrout and silicone replacement at this lovely property in Sandhurst today... a full grind back of the grout on the shower floor and partial grind back on the walls...all silicone then cut out. Before regrouting with fresh white grout with a flexible additive and white silicone... looks so much better 👌😊

No job too small... handle added to gate... of course I never do simple.. handle is designed to fix the the edge of the gate frame.. but that makes the handle too close to the post.. resulting in scraped knuckles... so 25mm square tube used to space the handle away from the edge... job done ✔️ 😁👌

Beaut views today.. working for a lovely family in Leongatha South.. gutter cleaning.. all leaves and tree debris blown from the roof before starting (or it just gets washed into the gutters and your back where you started 🤪) before cleaning the gutters by hand .. clearing all the blocked downpipes .... and finally a flush with water to clear any remaining silt and ensure that all downpipes are actually clear and fully functional 👍🏼😊

Managed to finish a job earlier than anticipated (thanks to the glorious weather).. and as it was too early to just rock up to the next job....it meant I could tick off a job I've been meaning to do... painting of the high level cement sheet over the garage 👍🏼
Cement sheet joints sealed with a flexible roofing sealer that contains fibreglass fibres to give additional strength... before painting with several coats of low sheen classic cream exterior paint.... the 3.6m extension pole kept ladder work to a minimal 👌😁
