🌞🚜🌱... what a sensational morning the sunshine blue skies... its fresh but im excited 😊

🚜This friday and Saturday find me and my seedlings at the Wandin Silvan Field Days . Ill see if I can add details in comments..🤔🤞🏻

But what does that mean for my regular hrs...

This friday. ❌️Closed❌️
Saturday. 8am to 2pm .. but .. only basic assistance mostly for Vasili's order pick up and limited seedlings available as they will be with me at field day

Sunday. 8am to 2pm.. with whatever i have left 🤣

Im off to set up.

🙋🏼‍♀️🎞🍅🍅🍅... its time!!
I thought it easier to just do a quick video to update u on the progress of me getting the tomatoes ready for friday.

Ill do another video today and run thru just a few names and hopefully ill be sorted enough to show u some of the Capsicums🫑 and the handful of chillis 🌶I have kicking around.

🙏🏻Thanx heaps for ur understanding and patience while I was unwell and still recovering still.

This weather was sensational today. Bring on so much more of it 😃😃😃

Between me still being unwell and this beautiful welcomed rain .... the tomatoes etc will stay where they are. Im not goin out in this rain to set them up and im tipping u guys are staying indoors too while this passes sooooo....

I will be here and open this weekend if u dare to come out in this weather. Friday2pm till 5.30pm Saturday and sunday 8am till 2pm... I will have a shelter up to help keep u dry .

I will make myself available during the week next week if ur needing anything b4 the weekend.

Till then... enjoy this beautiful rain 😍

Thanx for your understanding that I had to be closed yesterday at short notice.
Well.. I ended up taking myself off to hospital 🏥.
Im ok.... but they tell me to.expect to be out of action for another week. ..... dont they understand I have a deadline I have tomatoes and lots of other goodies to release this weekend....
I was sent home with antibiotics for some of it and the rest ... nothing they can do have to just ride it out and get plenty of rest. More rest !!!.. didnt I just explain to them ive slept for a week already and im on a time frame Im behind now and dont have time to rest now .

If u know me by now I dont do that much resting... which is kinda what gets me in the spot that I end up being sick

Stay tuned and lets see if.... drs are right and im still down and out for a week

My craziness and shear determination i push on thru and still make this weekend happen.

😃🍅🌱 how do u harden off hundreds and hundreds of tomatoes at once... imagine the trips carting them in and out of the hot houses.. well... ⬇️⬇️⬇️ I just take the roof off 🤣🤣🤣 work smarter not harder .

🤔 so.. what does this mean? Yep it means
🍅 majority of the tomatoes will be available starting next weekend. 😃
And...
Also there will be the start of some cucumbers 🥒 some beans 🫘 and more just starting to make their way to the seedling area .

Im here this weekend
Fri 2 till 5.30pm
Sat 8 till 2pm
Sun 8 till 2pm
If you need any Vasili's products to get those beds prepared and ready for planting in the comming weeks

Im off to do the backwards and forwards moving other tomato's out of a hot house that I cant take the roof off.

Im devastated.
So I have my sign 🪧 ⬅️on the round about and the two other turns to help direct u the easy way to my place. ( google maps take u on the scenic tours they are not ideal)

Last friday morning. My 2nd sign after the round about directing u down station Rd... the sign that was cable tied on to its stand was stolen. The stand was left behind.

Luckily I had a spare sign to put out there this week.
This morning that spare sign has now also been stolen and this time with the stand as well.
😭💔😭💔

Im scrambling to make shift something to put down there today until I can arrange a new one. .

Im open today 2 till 5.30 and every weekend now till December both Saturday and sunday 8am till 2pm and by appointment all other times

Mini helper and I were down sick for 3ish weeks. Since then ive been scrambling to catch up.
📨💬1stly ive been busily repliying to all emails returning calls and msgs if.. if ive accidentally 😱😔 missed you please poke me again and im straight on it.

🌞This beautiful weather and ive begun hardening off just... a few..🙈🫣🙈🫣 omgoodness.. a few tomatoes 🍅🫑🌶🍆🫘🌽🥒and lots of other stuff. So patience... the ground is still way too chilly
Last yr u might have thought me crazy having 65 different varieties. This yr ill have over 100 varieties.

Question? Do u plan to plant cucumbers ? Do u put them on a trellis? Are you keeping those spots bare and empty currently waiting for spring for those cucumbers?

Well... im planting peas on the trellises that I plan to do my 2nd or 3rd succession planting of cucumbers on...🤔🤔🤔🤔 got u thinkin?

Then go make a coffee and begin taking all the trays the 50mt walk one way down to the 2 newly added hot houses down my yard ( working on benches for the 3rd hot house frantically coz the other 2 are full way way past capacity)

Spring is fast approaching. Im working round the clock.

📢 spring i will have extended hrs and days . These times and days will be constantly different as I still make time for my children 1st. However remember I still will be offering by arrangement so call or msg and see what we can sort out.

Tomorrow I'll have mini helper pick a seedling and show u the varieties that are available. Keep eye out for that.
