Thomas Acre Home Renders // Sitting on 250 acres of beautiful open landscape, with a north-facing alfresco made for long lunches, entertaining and soaking up those incredible views. French doors and windows in the master ensuite capture those northern views, with one-way mirrored glazing adding privacy for our clients when the doors are closed. Sweeping curves soften the façade, while warm, soft tones and textures sit beautifully with the arid landscape.

Such a beautiful project to be working on!

Same room. Different moods // Which would you choose?
I’ve been exploring several window treatments for our 3 storey Beach House project in Margate, and I love how much they change the feeling of the space. But there’s more to this decision than how it looks. These north-facing windows bring such beautiful light deep into the home, especially when the winter sun sits lower in the sky. But with another house just across the easement, we also need to think about privacy.
Linen sheers would be beautiful here. Soft, timeless, and lovely against that sculptural staircase.
But I keep coming back to stained glass and other glazing options.
A mix of muted earthy colours and textured glass could soften the outlook and filter the light, while the windows themselves become part of the artwork. Something you experience differently as the light changes throughout the day.

I feel, it adds another layer of character to an already pretty special home, and our clients want a unique style and love earthy hues. So, I’m curious … which would you choose? Stained glass (top) or linen sheers (bottom)?

Highlights // A little look at some of the homes we’ve been designing for our clients in 2026, a couple almost ready for construction. So much time, thought and excitement goes into getting to this point, and I can’t wait to see them built.

We use the same 3D models for our technical and construction drawings, joinery documentation and furniture placement when furnishing is part of the project.

These flythroughs help our clients and builders get a feel for the spaces, proportions and style before anything goes up. It’s also an opportunity to show multiple designs and facades for our clients to choose from. As you can see, the we also model the sun’s path so our clients can see how the home’s aspect and orientation affect the light throughout the day and on different times of the year too.

This is what I love doing. Working with our clients from those first ideas through architectural and interior design, supporting them during construction, then furnishing and styling at the end. Seeing a home we’ve spent so long imagining become somewhere they actually live is pretty special 💛🥰

Cameron Acre Home Concept Renders // Lots of little surprises in this home. The curtains lead you through to the back where you’ll find the powder room, guest bedroom and ensuite, laundry and the door through to the garage. Very excited to see this one come to life also 🤩

Byron Bay Palm House // Created some extra renders for our amazing clients today so they could see some more angles and where the outdoor sauna would be. I wanted them to have a view of the pool while working up a sweat 😅 Looking forward to seeing this come to life ☀️ 🌴

That’s the beauty of building the 3D digital model. Not only do we use it for most of our technical documentation, but we also get to create beautiful renders for our clients and anyone else who needs to visualise the design.

Thomasson Acre Home // Embracing our beautiful dry, arid landscape. I love how this design is coming along. There’s something so special about designing a home that feels like it belongs exactly where it is … on an incredible 250 Acres in North Queensland.

A little mid-century influence coming through here too 🙂 Low, long lines, natural stone, timber and plenty of connection between inside and out.
