For 33 years, Gilmore Interior Design has had the privilege of designing spaces that support people to live, work, and age with dignity.

Along the way, we have been trusted by operators, providers, families, project partners, consultants, suppliers, and communities across Australia. Thank you for inviting us into projects that carried such meaning, and for allowing us to contribute to environments that continue to support people every day.

To every client who placed their trust in us, every collaborator who shared our vision, and every member of our team who brought that vision to life, thank you. Your expertise, generosity, and commitment have shaped not only our projects, but also the studio we have been proud to build together.

As Gilmore Interior Design now closes this chapter, we do so with immense gratitude for the relationships, experiences, and opportunities that have defined the past three decades.

It is a new year and in the current climate of elevated construction costs we’ve noticed that clients are planning their next steps very carefully.
No better time to share our tips for creating a detailed client brief that will set up your project with guiding principles. Most people know what they want but it is immensely useful and important to be able to communicate that effectively to everyone involved in realising the vision for your project . . . interpretation can be a dangerous and costly thing.
In brief, the 5 key factors include being clear about your VISION, determine the SCOPE, establish BUDGET and TIMING, input from your TEAM, lastly and most crucially, focus on the PEOPLE who will use the project/space/site.
