From more than 4,300 entries across 91 countries, we’re thrilled to see the Oculus at the Australian War Memorial selected for the Dezeen Awards 2026 Top 50: Asia Pacific Regional Showcase.

At the heart of the Memorial’s New Southern Entrance, the Oculus creates a moment of light, orientation and reflection within the visitor journey.

Thank you to the Dezeen editors, and congratulations to the projects and practices recognised across the region.

Great progress on-site at Rozelle Village, with construction steadily advancing up to Level 03 onwards.

The basement formwork has officially been stripped, revealing the scale of the sub-ground car parking levels. Moving forward, each new floor level is now anticipated to be poured every two weeks, rapidly bringing the structure to life.

Working in close coordination with and the consultant team, we’re bringing this vision to life. Once complete, Rozelle Village will feature new retail, residential spaces, and enhanced public domains, creating a vibrant hub for the local community.

Renewing a Newtown Cultural Landmark.

The Newtown School of Arts renewal at 5 Eliza Street has received DA approval, marking an important milestone for the future of this much-loved cultural venue.

For more than a century, the heritage-listed building has supported Newtown’s creative community. The renewal will preserve that legacy while creating a more accessible, flexible and contemporary home for performance, visual arts and cultural exchange.

A new two-storey addition sits as a recessive backdrop to the original 1916 building, while a revitalised theatre, artist studios, arts offices and new food and beverage spaces expand the venue’s role within the neighbourhood.

Following our first look at the new St. George Leagues Club lobby, the design is continuing to take shape behind the scenes with our Interior Design team.

Material studies, flat lays and drawing development are refining how the concept comes together, balancing rich reds, stone and brass with the strong forms and mid-century influences that define the new arrival experience.

More Homes for Hillsdale.

SSDA approval for Homes NSW Hillsdale paves the way for 179 new social homes, increasing housing on the site by more than four times.

More than 60% of the homes are two- and three-bedroom apartments, set around a landscape-led communal heart that brings together Country, community and everyday life.

More homes, greater housing choice and a new neighbourhood designed around quality of place.

The Next Chapter for Oran Park.

Oran Park Podium Stage 2, designed for , continues our long-term vision for a connected and active town centre, bringing together expanded retail, commercial workplaces and apartments within a vibrant mixed-use precinct that includes a new Town Square for Oran Park.

Building on the established character of Podium Way, the design strengthens the precinct through active street frontages, landscaped public spaces and a layered architectural response shaped around everyday community life.

A new stage in the evolution of Oran Park, grounded in the masterplan vision that has guided the town centre from the beginning.

That was one of the reflections shared by Nicholas Bandounas, Director at Studio.SC, after finding the Sydney team's new home at 155 Clarence Street.

Together, Studio.SC and created a workplace that supports the many dimensions of studio life while reflecting the culture and character of the practice.
