Nice and easy cornice

Today's task involved installing a simple 90mm cove cornice over kitchen cupboards. For those who may not be aware, when installing cornice on timber, it is best practice to screw into the cornice, given that plaster does not set well to wood, causing it to crack.

A 7 bedroom house has been completed by us, featuring concerto cornice. While we would have liked to, we did not carry out the sheeting as our scope of work was confined to setting and cornicing for the new house.

We have done up a new bethroom celling. This customer needed it done due to water damage. What we had done was take down the damaged celling, and we take that rubbish with us once the job is completed. We install a new sheet of Aquachek gyprock sheet, we set all joints with 2 coats of bace coat and 1 top coat, once it’s all dry we sand all joints for a smooth finish and ready for painting
