A little timber mystery on site.

We’ve been bringing these original timber floors back to life, but we’re still trying to identify the species.

The colour and grain have some beautiful variation. Anyone recognise the timber?

Custom-made sandstone blocks for our fireplace plinth from StoneLab_au , weighing over 1 tonne.
A fair bit of planning and some careful manoeuvring to get these into place, but we’re pretty happy with how they’ve turned out! 👌

Replaced the original rotten timber windows with custom-made stainless steel units.
Each opening was meticulously templated in MDF and scribed to fit perfectly around every sandstone block.
Proud of the detail and precision that went into this one.
