Meet Frankie, our studio lead!

Coming from a commercial and community architecture background, Frankie brings valuable experience in project leadership, strategic thinking and construction understanding. He always sees a design challenge as a possible opportunity, and seeks the best outcome for each project and client.

His motivation comes from a genuine enthusiasm to contribute to Brisbane’s rich architectural landscape, adding carefully considered work within a diverse design community.

Frankie fuels his work with good coffee, time at the beach and life with his family.

Forest Lake Residence: A home designed around the everyday.

The new patio by the pool creates a covered and accessible path of travel from the garage into the heart of the home. It adds to everyday living by providing a protected connection to the outside, while the folded roof brings in more northern light.

Meet Billy, our director!

Ever Architects began in 2016, after Billy's volunteering journey in Cambodia, which shaped how he saw the purpose of design. Since then, he's delivered multiple residential and commercial projects throughout South-East Queensland.

Billy brings a distinct voice to our industry, where care for people is at the forefront of his practice. He seeks to create spaces that feel calm, considered and connected to nature.

Today, Billy leads Ever Architects as an all-rounder, overseeing our studio (and always thinking about the bigger picture!). Outside of the office you’ll find him on a long drive, playing sports or spending time with his family.

A reimagined Queenslander: here's a glimpse at our design approach for this renovation in Tarragindi.

Keeping the original character of the home was a must, so rather than making big moves, we focused on a few simple, but considered changes, with big impact.

Our proposal was to firstly replace the two existing stairs with one secure, yet permeable, stair void that connects the home to the garden - a void that references that classic Queenslander undercroft feeling.
Inside, minimal re-zoning helped strengthen the connection to the garden, while also creating a little more privacy for guests downstairs.

We've loved working on this concept, and look forward to seeing it progress.

A warm red brick wall features centrally in Terra.

It defines the front and back sections of the ground floor, while its edges are more porous and transparent. Multiple portals punctuate the brick, making the wall a key unifying piece of the overall experience of the home.
