💧🌡️ **HYDROPONIC WATER TEMPERATURE – ARE YOU GETTING IT RIGHT?**
One of the most overlooked factors in hydroponics is nutrient solution temperature. Many beginners focus on lighting, nutrients and pH but forget about what's happening around the roots!
✅ **The ideal water temperature is 18–22°C.**
🥶 **Too Cold (Below 18°C)**
- Slower plant growth
- Reduced nutrient uptake
- Potentially lower yields
🔥 **Too Hot (Above 22°C)**
- Less dissolved oxygen available to roots
- Increased risk of harmful bacteria and root disease
- Poorer root health and reduced growth
🌡️ **THE SOLUTION?**
❄️ **Winter:** Use an aquarium-style water heater to maintain consistent temperatures.
☀️ **Summer:** Use a water chiller to prevent your nutrient solution from overheating.
💧 **Don't forget pH!** Temperature changes can influence pH readings and nutrient solution chemistry. Always check your pH regularly.
Healthy roots = Healthy plants = Better yields! 🌱
