The island is finished with Polytec Boston Oak Steccawood, adding texture and warmth without overpowering the rest of the space.

A laundry that actually makes you want to do laundry… almost. 😅

This one keeps things simple, practical and easy on the eye, with plenty of storage tucked behind the cabinetry, a generous benchtop and a sink right where you need it.

And that tiled splashback adds just enough detail without taking over the space.

This is what good timber-look cabinetry is all about.

Look closely at the Polytec Maison Oak Ravine and you’ll see why texture matters. The vertical grain, subtle tonal variation and tactile finish give this surface depth that changes beautifully as the light moves across it.

It’s understated, but it doesn’t disappear — and paired with clean, minimal joinery, it adds warmth without making the space feel heavy.

The detail you notice up close is often what makes the whole design work.

Would you go this dark in your kitchen? 🖤

This kitchen definitely makes a statement.

The black cabinetry gives it that really clean, modern feel, while the white benchtops and splashback keep it feeling fresh and bright. Then you've got the stainless steel fridge and a little bit of timber on the open shelving to break it all up.

We like that it's bold without going over the top.

And that island? Plenty of room to prep, serve, sit and generally have everyone hanging around the kitchen — which is usually where everyone ends up anyway.

It's proof that a darker kitchen doesn't have to feel heavy or closed in.

Warm, calm and just a little bit classic. 🤎

This palette brings together Natural Oak Ravine, Smartstone Taj Mahal, soft neutral cabinetry and warm brass hardware.

Nothing feels too matchy-matchy, but everything works together — the timber adds warmth, the stone brings movement and the brass adds that little bit of character.

A good reminder that neutral doesn’t have to mean boring.

We kept the cabinetry clean and white, then added warmth with the timber-look benchtop. The white subway tiles keep it fresh, while the black tapware adds just the right amount of contrast.
