The Fleurieu's summer booking season creeps up faster than you'd think, and October's when the smart property owners start getting ahead of it.

A sticking door, a screen that didn't survive winter, cupboards that don’t shut just right, they're easy to miss when you're not on site, and harder to explain to a guest halfway through their stay and it could mean bad reviews and less stars. And nobody wants that!

Sorting it now means one less thing to think about once the calendar fills up.

Greg can check the property over, handle what needs doing and send you a message once it's done, so you're never left guessing.

Call Greg on 0416 070 621 to get your Encounter Bay or Middleton beach property ready before the rush.

A torn fly screen doesn't just let the mozzies in, it lets in every other little thing you'd rather keep out. (Let's not talk about the long skinny things that are waking up!)

Once the weather warms up on the Fleurieu, a damaged or missing screen becomes obvious fast, and fixing or replacing one properly isn't always as simple as it looks.

It's the kind of job that's easy to put off because it seems awkward.

Greg repairs and replaces fly screens properly so you don’t have to worry about bugs (or worse).

Visit yourhandymanhelp.com.au to see what else Greg can help with around Victor Harbor and Port Elliot, Goolwa and Middleton.

Three flat packs deep into the move and the instructions still look like a foreign language. Not your ideal long weekend was it?

Beds, wardrobes, a dining table still leaning in pieces against the laundry wall, it adds up fast when you're trying to get a new place feeling like home.

Every hour spent wrestling with an Allen key is an hour not spent actually settling in.

Greg handles flat pack assembly of all sizes, from bed frames to BBQs, and can often tick off several jobs in a single visit.

DM Your Handyman Help on Facebook and get the flat packs off the floor and into the house.

The clocks go forward this weekend, and suddenly you're outside in daylight until half past seven again.

That's usually when the small stuff gets noticed: the back step that wobbles, the fly screen with a hole in it, the shelf in the shed that's been leaning since winter.

It's been on the list all along, just easier to miss when it got dark before dinner and you haven't been spending so much time outside.

You can't avoid it any longer. Because you know - happy wife, happy life!

Greg can work through that list in one visit and get it sorted before the warmer months really kick in, no job too small.

Call Greg on 0416 070 621 to get it booked in around Victor Harbor, Goolwa or Port Elliot.

Boxes unpacked, flat packs still waiting, curtains still on the floor, three months after moving in and the list hasn't gotten any shorter.

Settling into a new home on the Fleurieu comes with its own pile of small jobs, and most new arrivals don't have a handyman's number saved yet.

Greg works through a full list in one visit, curtains hung, shelving fitted, doors adjusted, so you're not booking five different people for five different jobs. He's local, police-checked and insured, and happy to talk through what's on your list.

DM Your Handyman Help on Facebook to get it all sorted in one go.

Daylight saving starts the first Sunday in October, and that hour of extra evening light has a habit of showing up every job the winter dark was hiding.

Flyscreens with a tear in them or a door that's been sticking since June are all open invitations for summer bugs and they all get a lot more obvious once people are arriving for the weekend.

Greg can check your property over now and get it sorted before the change, so it's ready rather than reactive once the season turns.

It's a straightforward way to stay ahead of the summer rush at your Fleurieu property.

Call Greg on 0416 070 621 to book a check before daylight saving kicks in.

Not sure if a job's a handyman job or one for a licensed tradie?

Grab rails, general repairs, small painting and the odd sticking door are all things we can help with, along with flat pack assembly, clothes line installation and a raft of other little jobs.

If it turns out to be something that needs a licensed electrician or plumber, he'll tell you plainly and put you onto someone he trusts.
That way nothing gets left half done.

Spring outdoor jobs have a reputation for needing a licensed tradie. Lots of them don't.

Shed assembly, clotheslines, privacy screens and panelling are all things Greg handles directly, and there's no need to wait for a tradie.

If something genuinely does need a licensed electrician, plumber or other specialist, he'll say so straight away and point you to someone trusted in his network.

Call Greg on 0416 070 621 to find out what's actually on his list, not just what people assume is.

The linen cupboard's been overflowing since winter, and every attempt to sort it just turns into moving the mess to another room.

Spring's a good prompt to get proper shelving in rather than stacking things higher and hoping for the best.

Greg speaks fluent Ikea - shelving and storage solutions, so everything finally has a spot and the floor space opens back up. It's the kind of job that makes the whole house feel more manageable, not just tidier for a week.

Visit yourhandymanhelp.com.au to see what Greg can help sort out this spring.

Spring's the season the Fleurieu holiday calendar wakes up, and outdoor jobs don't wait for the first booking to remind you.

Clotheslines, sheds, screens and privacy panels all take a beating over winter, and it's easy to miss what needs doing when the property's sitting empty most of the year.

Let’s get it sorted properly, from a wobbly clothesline to a cupboard door that needs putting back together, then send you a message once it's done so you're not left wondering.

He's police-checked and insured, so you know exactly who's on the property while you're not there.

DM Your Handyman Help on Facebook to get your property checked over before the season picks up.
