The week that was! For those that don’t know we both work full time, and we own Riversdale Irises. Tim Taylor is President of the Inland Region Iris Society Inc. and Maria Rosa Taylor is Secretary/Treasurer. Last week end was our Annual Iris & Flower Show, we give up our time from our business and personal life to support IRIS Inc. which means we cannot open the display gardens for public viewing. It’s what we have done each year. This year we were delighted by the support of our members and the general public that brought along what they had flowering in their gardens. One of our members Mark Lazzaro came from South East Victoria to help with the set up and Judging of the show. Our member base is spread across NSW and Vic. And we love the support. Thank you to you all. So much work goes into organising, preparing and running a show. Here is a snippet of the show. There were photos taken of all the exhibitors that won awards and best exhibits but not by me, so I will do another post.
