Spring has sprung! Here’s some beauties to get you inspired to get out and meet your locals.

Marty will be representing the Friends of Black Hill this Saturday 5/9/26, 10.00 - 12.00, doing a walk and talk native plane treasure hunt.

Places are limited so you’ll need register the Kyneton Daffodil Festival.

Woodend will be OPEN from 9.00 - 2.00, so pop in and pick up some natives for your garden this Spring!

Pipers Creek Landcare has an exciting new project and wants the community to be help deliver its new Post Office Creek Catchment Management Plan (POCCMP). This project is being delivered by a dedicated Working Group, which Martin Roberts, the other half of Grow Locals, is heading up.

The vision of the POCCMP is to connect the Kyneton Woodlands to the Campaspe River along the Post Office Creek. Helping landowners help local plants and animals thrive not just survive.

A walk in Bald Hill Reserve this morning walk, top of the catchment, grounds the project vision. Imagine all the way into town sweet smells , frosty footings, quiet bird calls, fungus eruptions, streaming light.
