We are happy to share the first pictures of the “Huis van Lievegem” we recently finished. This multi-purpose town hall is much more than a building; it is a warm and welcoming home for all residents of the municipality of Lievegem.
More images will follow of the exterior, the park and the furnished workspaces.

Compact and green school!

Last month, we opened De Lettertuin, this new school integrates seamlessly into the neighborhood, functioning as a community buidling with a sheltered entrance at the corner. The compact building focuses on innovative learning and social interaction, while preserving much-needed open space on the school grounds. A stacked learning landscape - featuring playgrounds at various levels and diverse, spacious green play zones - invites children to move, play, and explore.

A green lung for Zellik!

We recently finished the new town garden “Molenbos” in Zellik. This inclusive green meeting place offers much needed outdoor space for the local residents and combines walking, playing, sports, resting and experiencing culture. A green lung for Zellik, a collective garden for all citizens!

We are excited to share that our team has been selected to work on the masterplan for the old hospital site in Vilvoorde. A very strategic piece of the city between the historic center and the canal!

We see opportunities for adaptive reuse, strengthening the green-blue network, making the history of the city more legible again and creating a vibrant city neighborhood. Looking forward to working on this with the city and other stakeholders and our exquisite team!

In zet GO!

Brut together with Witteveen+Bos have started working on the masterplan for 3 train stations areas in Beersel commissioned by Vlaams-Brabant within the framework of the strategic project Zennevallei. To gather as much information as possible during our analysis phase, we kicked off with an in-situ survey. Totems introduce the project and show some triggering questions. Users, passers-by, and residents are motivated to fill out a questionnaire and our team was also present at strategic times to conduct interviews. While the process is still ongoing, we can already say it is a success by the number of reactions we have been able to gather.

Yesterday we had a little team day visiting the finished new leisure centre and adjacent park in Zellik!

Very nice to see this place come alive and becoming a bustling hotspot in the town!

The Komet Phase 2 buildings are finished and we are very proud of the result!

More compact, green and qualitative living! Our masterplan for phase 2 of the Komet development in Stad Mechelen, pushes the ambition to create a sustainable neighbourhood to the limits. The buildings of phase 2 are organised in a very compact way, leaving more space to develop a green park of over 1 hectare, and creating a sense of community. The old industrial site makes way for a lively neighborhood, well-connected to the rest of the city with a focus on a fine network of soft mobility routes and bicycle infrastructure. We are looking forward to see the neighborhood come alive with the new residents moving in.
