Restoration of a 1980s Leolux coffee table.

This iconic three-piece coffee table features beech veneer over an MDF core, supported by solid mahogany bases, with each element rotating around a single chrome pivot.

After nearly four decades, the original high-performance lacquer had reached the end of its life.

The restoration required a careful approach: removing the aged finish without compromising the thin veneer or the exposed rounded MDF edges.

Every surface was meticulously sanded, with the edges refined entirely by hand. After a thorough cleaning with alcohol, the table was finished with two coats of a durable two-component hardwax oil, bringing warmth back to the wood while offering long-lasting protection.

A second life for a timeless piece of Dutch design.

Good design deserves preservation, not replacement. 🤎

Quiet Season VII

Some memories are carried in photographs.

Others become part of the objects we live with.

Composed from a single handcrafted panel of olive wood, resin and preserved flowers,

Quiet Season 7 consists of seven individual objects that together form one quiet composition.

They can be separated.

They can be rearranged.

But they were always meant to belong together.

Olive wood · Resin · Preserved flowers
