YOU GET TO VOTE!

Over the past few years, we've been crossing, growing and selecting our own Anthurium hybrids right here in our greenhouse in Belgium.

Now we'd love to hear your opinion.

We've selected five promising hybrids, each with its own distinctive characteristics. As we decide which selections to focus on for future production, we're curious to know which one is your favourite.

Meet the candidates:

01 – Anthurium Viridian
02 – Anthurium Jade Whisper
03 – Anthurium Emerald Armor
04 – Anthurium Corduroy
05 – Anthurium Ironwood

Which one would you love to see more of?

Comment your favourite number (01–05) below!

As a little extra, we'll randomly select one participant to receive a plant of the hybrid they voted for.

Voting closes November 1 at 23:59 CET. We'll announce the winner and the community favourite on November 2.

All five selections were developed and grown in our own greenhouse as part of our ongoing Anthurium breeding programme.

Did you know that here at Kwekerij Dirk Mermans, we actually specialise in growing BIG plants? 🌿

While most people know us for our younger plants, a big part of our greenhouse is dedicated to growing plants into impressive, mature specimens.

And honestly, there’s something pretty special about walking through a jungle of giant Monsteras every day. 💚

MONSTERA ‘BULBASAUR’ IS BACK! 🌱

Growing these beauties hasn't been entirely straightforward.

While some plants have developed beautiful variegation, others have gradually produced greener growth than we'd hoped. Rather than releasing everything, we've decided to be selective.

The result? 10 individually numbered and photographed Monstera ‘Bulbasaur’ in pot size 17!

And yes, you can choose the exact plant you want. What you see is what you get!

Available Sunday, October 18 at 8 PM CEST.

A second small batch follows on October 25. After that, it may be quite a while before more Bulbasaurs become available.

All 10 plants are already listed in our webshop, so you can take your time browsing the collection before Sunday's release.

Preview the collection now — link in bio!

Have you spotted us yet? 👀

You might know us from our webshop, but did you know that most of our plants actually find their way to plant lovers through garden centres and plant shops across Europe?

We're growers first and foremost!

And you might even spot our Plantlovers labels, complete with a QR code linking to our plant care guides and videos.

So, next time you're browsing your favourite plant shop, keep an eye out!

Have you spotted our plants somewhere? We'd love to know where! 🌿
