Introducing the new Executive Suites at the Hyatt Regency Vancouver! đź’Ą

Prostar is again proud to be the general contractor of choice for this project. This project was developed to increase the overall room count by converting existing an existing lounge into additional rooms, subdividing other existing suites as well as fully renovating the 33rd floor public corridors.

Prostar completed full removal of existing suites finishes on the 29th, 30th, 32nd, & 33rd floor, installed steel/concrete infills where needed, added additional bathrooms for suites, all new finishes including countertops, washroom accessories/fixtures, millwork, tiling, flooring, lighting, wall coverings, painting, and fire stopping.

Introducing the new guest rooms at the Sidney Pier Hotel & Spa!

Prostar is proud to be the general contractor that was able to bring this vision and design to life. Set along the waters edge in Sidney, the property offers stunning views and comforting coastal calmness.

Prostar completed a full re & re of all 55 guest rooms which included flooring, tile installation, wallcovering, painting, millwork, cabinetry, countertop installations, electrical, plumbing, countertops, & new bathroom vanity’s.

We would like to thank the Sidney Pier Hotel & Spa on site staff and stakeholders for their trust, cooperation and support throughout this project. We are sure your guests will enjoy these rooms for many years to come!

Another project complete!

Our team recently completed an interior common area renovation at a strata in Vancouver! Our scope of work included;
* Demolition of all existing finishes
* Supply & installation of wainscotting
* Supply and installation of light fixtures & fire exit signs
* Supply & install tile in main lobby
* Rebuild the main lobby mailbox area and archway ceiling
* Supply & install carpet tile throughout hallways
* Painting of walls, ceilings, baseboards, trims, & door frames

Alma St Apartments - Roofing Replacement Complete!👊🏼💥

Our team recently completed a full roofing system replacement at Alma St Apartments, removing the aging SBS system and installing a high‑performance Soprema 2‑ply SBS assembly.

The scope included:
• New vapour barrier
• Custom slope package
• Protection board
• Custom cap flashing around the building perimeter

Full traffic control was implemented to allow for the upload and removal of materials due to the limited access around the property.

Additional Scopes of Work Completed:
• Enlarged curb to accommodate the custom slope package
• Extended piping to meet current code requirements
• Custom‑fabricated vents to replace failing components
• Standing seam and wind‑clip cap flashing for long‑term durability

This building will be well protected from the elements for many years to come!

Cedarbrook Village Roofing Replacement Complete!

We recently wrapped up a major sloped‑roof replacement project at Cedarbrook Village, covering 11 multi‑family buildings and 59 homes. The old 25‑year‑old shingles were removed and replaced withIKO Dynasty shingles in “Biscayne” colour, along with new built‑in gutters, flashing, standing‑seam details, and updated chimney caps (not pictured).

🗓️ Timeline:
Started August 2025 • Substantial completion December 2025 • Final touch‑ups completed in January

🌧️ Challenges:
A tight site for bin placement and one of the rainiest fall seasons we’ve seen!

🔧 Other Scope Details:
* Proper attic ventilation brought up to code
* Correction of previous improper HVAC installation
* Carpentry repairs where needed (sagging fascia, rotted decking)
* Custom flat‑to-slope transitions
* Siding removed, replaced, & reinstalled where required

This Strata will be well protected from the elements for years to come!
