🩷💚 Happy Small Business Week 2026! 💚🩷

Let’s celebrate the incredible small businesses that make Calgary and our surrounding communities so special! ✨

Behind every small business is a real person with a dream, a whole lot of hard work, and a passion for what they do. When you support local, you’re helping those dreams grow, supporting local families, and keeping our communities thriving. 🫶

Here are some simple ways to support local small businesses like Peace Candle Co:

🕯️ Shop local — Choose locally made products when shopping for yourself or gifts.🎁 Shop with us for special occasions — Think wedding & baby showers, birthdays, housewarming gifts, and corporate gifting!

📲 Like, comment & share — Every interaction helps small businesses reach new customers.

⭐ Leave a review — A quick Google, Yelp, or Facebook review can make a huge difference!

💗 Tell a friend — Word of mouth is incredibly powerful!

📍 Visit local markets & shops — Discover amazing Alberta makers and artisans right in our own backyard. There are so many amazing markets happening this fall and winter and plenty of shops that feature local brands as well!

At Peace Candle Co, every candle is hand-poured in small batches using 100% natural soy wax and essential oils. From everyday self-care to personalized wedding favours and thoughtful gifts, every order means so much to our small business. 🕯️🌿

You don’t have to spend money to make a difference — a share, a recommendation, or a kind comment can go a long way!

Let’s support each other and shop small this week and all year long. 💚

🍁🍂Happy Thanksgiving 🍂🍁

Today, I want to pause and say thanks to everyone who has supported my small business this year. I am truly grateful for every kind word, every encouragement, every purchase, and every recommendation! And to the event organizers who have graciously welcomed into their spaces, thank you for providing an opportunity to my business. 🥰
Most of all, I’m grateful for my family for supporting me every day along this journey.

Wishing everyone a lovely Thanksgiving weekend. ❤️

There's no better way to spend Thanksgiving weekend than in the mountains so come on up to Canmore this Saturday for the last outdoor market of 2026! I will have my fall candles and market specials running. This is always a great market and I'm really looking forward to it! Due to the expected chilly temperatures, you can find my booth in the atrium of the Canmore Civic Centre. Hope to see you there! 😊

I get this question a lot so here is the answer! When I’m not at markets, you can find my candles in store in Airdrie and Canmore!

Sweet Williams Co is a local small business in Airdrie and in addition to having beautiful floral arrangements, you can find my candles and a selection of other local artisans there! 💐

Crinkle Rockies Coffee is inside the Coast Canmore Hotel and in addition to having the best coffee in town, they also feature several local artisans! They have some of my 4oz candles in their storefront! ☕️

As always, you can find my candles on my website, and visit me at any of my upcoming markets! 😁 🛍️

Welcome October!!
Fall is my favourite season (except for the getting colder part). I absolutely love the sunny days, the crisp mornings, and the clear air. I love cozying up with my dog on the couch with a nice blanket and having a fall candle burning. Here’s to a great October!!
