What started off as "hey let's paint our powder room" turned into a week long project after work of doing the trim, picking new faucets and handles, selecting cute frames, as well as my two favorite things in this bathroom - super heavy wood mirror and super heavy glass light fixture to create that exact mood my wife was after. Still a few things left to do like change out the vent cover and paint the inside of the door, but I actually really like how it all turned out.

Anything else you see?

New cabinets, a new sink, updated bathroom fixtures, and no mess left behind. That last part matters too! 🔧😃

Thank you, Haroot, for trusting me with your home and taking the time to leave the review. Hearing that you are happy with the work makes my day.

I take pride in doing the job properly, showing up when I say I will, and treating your home with care.

I love IG comments. 😂

But truly, it would have been faster to just break the wood than try to cut it with those saws. Haha

**Thinking about putting a steam shower in your bathroom? Here’s why people love them.**

First — **it turns your bathroom into a mini spa.**
Push a button, close the door, and suddenly you’re relaxing instead of just getting clean.

Second — **your muscles will thank you.**
After the gym, a long workday, or simply waking up over 40 and somehow injuring yourself while sleeping… steam feels pretty amazing. 😄

Third — **it adds a serious wow factor.**
If you’re already renovating the bathroom, a steam shower can take it from “nice bathroom” to “okay, I want this in my house.”

But here’s the contractor part people forget: **steam showers need proper waterproofing, ventilation and planning.** Steam gets absolutely everywhere, so this is not the place to cut corners.

Would you put a steam shower in your bathroom?

When hiring a contractor, hire based on value and trust - not just the lowest bid.

There's been quite a few times where clients went the cheap route first, only to have their contractor ghost them, stop responding, and they basically had to start all over with someone new. This is a very unfortunate situation.

Bringing someone into YOUR HOME can be very daunting and that's why good research is so important. Don't go with the cheapest quite, it's usually a recipe for disaster. Check out your contractor's reviews, maybe even reach out to previous clients so you can hear about their personal experience.

Make sure your contractor is LICENSED and INSURED. You want that extra protection.

We are going to get A LOT of raining the next 3 days. One of the things you can do now is put down all your downspouts away from your foundation. Help your neighbor too if you can.
