🌿 Ch'íyáqtel Community Centre & Offices: Designed for Culture, Governance & Gathering 🏛️✨

We are proud to highlight our completed renovation of the Ch'íyáqtel (Tzeachten) Administration Offices & Community Centre in Chilliwack! Working closely with the community and Nation staff, the design blends modern functionality with deep cultural roots:

* Engaging Learning Stair: An innovative learning stair transforms the office lobby into an active, welcoming space where people can gather, present, or connect 📚🪜.

* Expanded Cultural Hall & Kitchen: Added capacity and a renovated community kitchen create a vibrant venue for gatherings, clan meetings, dances, graduations, and fundraisers 🍲🎉.

* Sheltered Timber Breezeway: A welcoming timber breezeway seamlessly connects the two buildings, offering year-round weather protection and space to mingle 🌲🤝.

* Contextual Cedar Detailing: Rich cedar featured throughout the interior and exterior is set against a modern black-and-grey palette, harmonizing with adjacent Tzeachten Affordable Housing and surrounding community lands 📐✨.

Designing purposeful, culturally grounded spaces that empower communities to gather and thrive for generations is at the core of what we do.

🏔️ Elevating University Living: Design with a View 📐✨

We are proud to look back on this completed multi-residential project—Rockcliffe Condos & Liberty Pointe Apartments—two contemporary buildings thoughtfully designed to harmonize with the surrounding campus community and celebrate breathtaking landscape vistas!

Taking full advantage of a prime location overlooking the valley, the Thompson River, and the surrounding mountains, the design weaves modern innovation, campus guidelines, and human-scale architecture into a lasting community experience:

Designed for the Views: Generous private decks and an expansive top-floor common amenity deck on each building ensure residents make the absolute most of panoramic, northern valley views 🌄🌿.

Contextual & Timeless Aesthetic: Guided by university neighbourhood design standards, the exterior showcases a sophisticated palette of timeless materials, balanced proportions, and large windows that flood interior spaces with natural daylight 🪟✨.

Human-Scale Stepped Massing: To respect the pedestrian realm and complement neighbouring university architecture, the top floors were subtly stepped back—reducing massing while opening up expansive outdoor amenity space above 🏛️.

Designing vibrant, context-driven spaces that connect people to each other and their natural surroundings for years to come is at the core of what we do.
