Thanksgiving Back 🦃
The Choice

Friends!!! Get your cutie booties down to The Choice and shop their Thanksgiving Back sale!! Whatever you buy, that dollar amount gets donated to local schools! BEST!!

I snagged 2 pairs of jeans and am in love!!! For a mama with three kids to find jeans that are actually comfortable, that is a HUGE win!!! I’m obsessed with the Levi’s rib cage wide leg 🙌 Love how they look with my new Birkenstock clogs from Summit Footwear & Lifestyle Boutique 🤩

Also… how sweet is my little photo bomber 🙈😂 Can’t have a backyard photo shoot without a little toddler seeing themselves in the camera and saying “cheeeeese” 😂

The Choice is a one stop shop for awesome clothing, winter gear, local goods and all the cool Kootenay accessories 🏔️

Happy shopping friends!

Spa 901 Feature 🧖‍♀️
Spa 901

My bestie came for a visit from Kelowna and we took in a day out to Spa 901 in Fernie 🤩 It was soooo amazing!!! I had such an incredible RMT massage with Ben (he is phenomenal!), and then before and after the massage, we soaked in the hot pool and relaxed in their beautiful new sauna! Absolute bliss! Finished the day off with lunch at the Brickhouse, and coffee for the drive home. Such a fun day and the fall colors in Fernie are stunning right now 🍁🍂

Highly recommend treating yourself to a spa day! You can sniff our candles while you’re too! Yay! 🕯️

U P D A T E 🤍

We have a little update to share with our Homestead family!

After nearly 4 years of making and pouring candles, our little business has grown in ways we could have only dreamed of. We’re so incredibly grateful for every candle you’ve purchased, every market you’ve visited us at, every retailer who carries our candles, and every person who has supported our small business along the way. 🥹💛

Over the past few years, the cost of the materials that go into making our candles — including wax, jars and fragrance oils — has continued to increase. After doing a lot of number crunching, we’ve made the decision to make a small price adjustment so we can continue doing what we love and creating the same high-quality candles you know and love.

✨ Starting September 8th, our new retail prices will be:

🕯️ 6oz — $20 + tax
🕯️ 11oz — $30 + tax

We know that price increases are never anyone’s favourite, and we truly don’t take this decision lightly. We’ve kept the increase as small as possible while still allowing our little family business to continue growing.

Thank you for continuing to choose small, local and handmade. Every single purchase means more to us than you know. ❤️

Here’s to another season of cozy homes, good smells and lots of candle burning! 🍂🕯️

With so much gratitude,
Danielle & Brandon

Fall Fundraisers 🍂🍁

I can’t believe I’m making a post about Fall already (😳), but once school is back in session life gets so busy and then we run out of time to get Fall Fundraisers off the ground 🙈🤪 SO…

Pictured here are the fundraiser details, and we would LOVE to work with you! If you’re interested, please reach out and we can get things all set up ahead of time so it’s easy peasy to roll out mid September.

We have had so much positive feedback about the fundraisers and can’t wait to add a few more this Fall/winter 💛
