Just me and my Benchmark wood splitter getting the job done.

I have my audio book in my ear and find the time flies.

What does everyone listen to when doing chores? Audio book, music, or are you out there just listening to the world around you?

Hubby got me a new toy

Ill be tackling log mountain for the next few days. Splitting and stacking this winters fire wood.

Anyone else use a log splitter to tackle the fire wood?

Hubby was busy on his days off getting us some fire wood. Ill be spending the next little while splitting and stacking.

Finally I can see the end of the molting tunnel.
It feels like forever since weve gotten any eggs. I even had to buy some from a neighbour.

And today there are 2 🎉

Hopefully everyone else decides to get back to work and start laying too.
