There is underground parking available at the Strathcona County Community Centre.
• First two hours are free.
• All-day parking on weekends and holidays is a $2 flat fee.
• You must register your license plate at a pay station every time you park, even if you’re staying for less than two hours.

It's Monstera Monday! 🪴


This week we have a doozy of a looker to showcase.

Monstera standleyana - a truly unique member of the genus.

Unlike most other Monstera the standleyana doesn't get the distinctive fenestrations that the majority of the species in this genus produce as they reach maturity.

A vining and climbing species that is easy care and tolerant of a variety of conditions make it an excellent house plant for beginners and advanced keepers alike.

Available on the website for local pick-up or delivery. We might even have some with us at the upcoming rare plant expo - unless they are all snapped up before the 26th arrives. 😃

You’re probably more ready for an albo than you think.

The Monstera albo has a reputation for being fussy.
Mostly it isn’t.
It’s a Monstera with less chlorophyll to work with, so it wants brighter indirect light and a little more consistency than its all-green cousin.
Chunky mix, water when the top inch dries, never let it sit wet. That’s the list.

If you’ve been circling this plant for a while, we’ve got a few hand-picked ones in.

We have something to share with our Edmonton community.

After three and a half incredible years, upwegrow will be closing its doors.
It has been the most rewarding, wild, plant-filled adventure — and every single one of you who walked through our doors, bought a weird frog, asked us to ID a mystery cutting, or just came in to enjoy the space made it worth every moment.

We want to go out the way we came in: with something worth getting excited about.

Introducing: The Final Unfurling.

Our last-ever plant order arrives Thursday and hits the floor Friday morning.
For three final days — May 28, 29, and 30 — everything in the shop is 50% off.
Rare aroids. Tropicals. Vivarium supplies. Apparel. All of it. The only exception is "As Is" items.
