Alberta Sends a Powerful Message: Canada Is Home 🇨🇦

In a historic vote, 76.4% of Albertans chose to remain in Canada, rejecting a move toward a binding separation referendum. Only 23.6% supported the proposal.

After a year of intense debate, the result sends a powerful message of unity and belonging. Whatever their political differences, millions of Canadians share a country, a history and a future worth protecting.

Alberta is part of Canada — and tonight, that bond stands strong.🇨🇦❤️

Results on nine other questions, focused largely on immigration and constitutional changes, are still being counted.
