I know it’s only a week and a bit until Halloween will have passed for another year 🎃, but I love this lil lady so much, she needs to have the spotlight while she can! 🧙♀️
Sadly, she has been adopted into a loving home already — I got pretty attached to her in the brief time I had with her! 🥲
Created on a grapevine form spraypainted black, with a thrift shop witch shelf sitter (that I tidied up, mended a spot – and of course – dug the weighted material out of her butt! 💩). Adorned with quality florals, a cauldron filled with custom-coloured bubbles and one very lucky frog, charms, a wire-wrapped-by-yours-truly crystal (Tiger’s Eye, to be exact), her broom and always her familiar! 🐈⬛
I just love doing wreaths like these, where I can add one inspiring thrifted piece and then just let it grow and come to life from there. Sometimes I end up creating a scene, sometimes a moment, and sometimes I end up telling a whole story.
It really gets the problem-solving derived dopamine going for me, because there are a lot of little decisions when designing and seeing an area that needs to be filled or needs a little something special added, and the joy of seeing it come together perfectly.
By the time I’ve finished one of these, I’ve gotten to know them quite well and can see the personality they’ve developed/that I’ve given them. 👻
Wreaths like these are truly one-of-a-kind, so if you see one and like it, you better claim it right away!
