After years of rooms that all blend together, the living room is back to being a room you actually want to spend time in. And pieces like this one are a big part of why.

Florals are having a real comeback, and not in a dated way. This chair brings soft colour and a bit of personality to a space without taking it over. Put it next to a neutral sofa or in a quiet reading corner and the whole room feels warmer.

Come have a seat. It's on our floor now.

New to the floor and easy to picture at home. 🤍

Meet the Sky sofa from Future Fine Furniture. With soft curves, a relaxed look, and a fresh neutral fabric, it creates the perfect backdrop for your favourite cushions and accents.

The Sky features microgel seating construction and is part of a versatile sofa program, with all Grade 70 fabrics available at the same price. We’re showcasing it in Crete 220, paired with a set of meander-patterned toss cushions and a matching swivel chair for a splash of colour and a touch of plush, cozy flair.

Come take a seat and find inspiration for your space at Smitty’s.

Choosing a fabric under store lighting, with a dozen other options around you, isn't the same as choosing it in your actual living room. That's why we offer fabric sign-outs.

Gina walks you through how it works. You borrow the swatch, bring it home, and see how it looks against your floors, your lighting, and your other pieces. Then you decide.

It's one of those things we've always offered that most people don't know about until someone tells them.

Shopping for furniture is a lot easier when you have someone in your corner. Our team doesn't just show you what's on the floor. They ask the right questions: what the room looks like, what you actually need it to do, who's using it and how.

That's what an in-store consultation looks like at Smitty's. It doesn't cost anything extra, and it usually saves people from a decision they'd regret in six months.

Come in and talk to us. No pressure, no rush.

Brentwood Classics is made right here in Canada, and their Free Form program is one of the better-kept secrets in our showroom.

You choose the configuration. You choose the fabric. You're not limited to what's sitting on the floor. Joannie walks through how it works and what your options actually look like in practice.

If you've been looking for something specific and haven't been able to find it, this is worth knowing about.
