Setting the tone for Skå Thermal Spa. Carla shares the look and feel we’re working towards, and how the design will shape the experience from the moment you walk in.

For the past 15 years, the Landmark District has been home to Sticks + Stones Design Group.

It’s the space where projects take shape and our team gets to do what we love every day.

Here’s a little look inside our home away from home.

What is Carla most excited to see take shape at Skå Thermal Spa?

It’s the full experience. Seeing the design come to life, feeling the energy of the finished space and watching each detail contribute to its overall look and feel.

Located in the Movala building in Lower Pandosy, Skå will bring a completely new thermal spa experience to Kelowna. We can’t wait to see it all come together.

Planning a commercial space in Kelowna? There are some important building permit requirements you need to know.

The City of Kelowna has updated and clarified requirements for commercial building permits, and some projects may now require a registered architect as part of the permit process.

This can include shell spaces, larger commercial spaces, certain retail, office, medical and personal-service businesses, and projects involving fire separations.

The good news? You don't have to navigate it alone.

Sticks + Stones has collaborated with a local registered architect so we can help coordinate the process: from initial feasibility and interior design through permit documentation and professional coordination.

Considering a new commercial space?

Talk to us before you sign the lease.

A little due diligence upfront can save a lot of time, money and surprises later.

We’re proud to be a donation drop-off location for Dress for Success Kelowna!

Having worked alongside their team to help create their new space, we’ve seen how thoughtfully Dress for Success supports women as they prepare for interviews, employment and new opportunities. Becoming a drop-off spot felt like a meaningful way for us to continue supporting that work and make donating a little easier for our community.

Swipe through for the current donation guidelines, then stop by our office in the Landmark District with your gently used professional clothing and accessories.

A first look at what’s to come at Flex Academy.

This 43,550-square-foot, two-storey facility is being designed as more than a traditional school. With flexible spaces that support movement, connection and different styles of learning, Flex Academy represents an exciting new direction for education.

Carla is also proud to serve as an Ambassador for the Learning Without Limits campaign, helping shape how students learn for generations to come.

We look forward to sharing more as the project progresses.

We're grateful for the opportunity to help bring the vision for La Quinta by Wyndham Kelowna to life as the brand's first Canadian-built hotel.

We're proud of what we created together and thankful for the trust our team was given throughout the project!

A look behind the scenes at our recent site visit to SKA Thermal Spa.

Site visits give us the opportunity to connect with our clients, experience the space firsthand and review how the design is taking shape. Construction is an evolving process, so staying flexible allows us to address new considerations and make thoughtful adjustments along the way.

We can’t wait to see this space continue to come together!
