A beautiful finish matters. So does feeling informed and comfortable while work is happening in your home.

We had the pleasure of completing a cosmetic refresh at Barbara’s condo, and her kind words mean a lot to our team. Thank you, Barbara, for trusting Coronation Construction with your space.

There is a massive difference between finishing a basement and creating a secondary dwelling unit.

Egress window sizing, fire-rated assemblies, and ceiling clearances are just a few of the many strict building code requirements. A truly compliant space demands planning, engineering, and city permitting from the ground up. Shortcuts simply do not hold up to code.

We manage the entire project from architectural plans and permits through to construction and final inspection. When you are adding permanent value to your home, build it right the first time.

Maximizing space, light, and flow in Project Blackburn. The goal here was to take a heavy, compartmentalized layout and open it up. Swapping the dated corner unit for modern, streamlined fixtures proves how much a smart floor plan can elevate a home.

Ready to rework a layout that isn’t serving you? We’re running an extended booking incentive for all new bathroom projects through August. Ask us if you can qualify! 📥

Project Blackburn, finished.

Every renovation has one detail that quietly ties the whole space together.

For this bathroom, it’s the tile.

Throughout the day, natural light brings out different tones. Sometimes it’s a soft, cool grey. Other times, warmer brown undertones emerge. It’s a subtle detail that gives the space depth while keeping it timeless.

Choosing finishes isn’t just about how they look in a showroom. It’s about how they’ll look and feel in your home every day.

Swipe through and take the tour. Then head to our page to see where Project Blackburn began. Seeing the transformation from start to finish makes the final result even more rewarding.

Sometimes, the details tell the story before the room does.

Every element in Project Blackburn was chosen with intention. From the seamless glass enclosure and wall-mounted tub filler to the custom vanity and built-in shower bench, each detail contributes to a space that’s clean, functional, and built for everyday living.

It’s easy to admire the finished result. What often goes unnoticed are the hundreds of small decisions, careful installations, and precise craftsmanship that make the space feel effortless once it’s complete.

Next, we’ll show you how it all came together.

Blink and you’ll miss it ⏱️

Project Blackburn is moving fast.

From demo day to framing, plumbing, and waterproofing, the groundwork for this master ensuite overhaul is officially in place. The oversized built-in tub is gone, and the new walk-in shower is starting to take shape, complete with a custom bench already framed in.

The heavy lifting is done. Next stop: tile installation.

This is where the real work happens.

Not the finishes. Not the styling. The part where we open everything up, fix what’s hidden, and rebuild it properly.

It’s not pretty, but it’s the reason the final result looks clean and lasts.

A full reset for Project Blackburn.

The goal was simple. Replace a dark, dated space with something bright, clean, and easy to live in. This palette sets the tone with soft whites and subtle greys that keep everything feeling open and calm.

Every selection came from the clients. Our job is to bring it to life.

Demo starts now.

Before we build, we take it apart.

Here’s a last look at the original primary suite at Project Blackburn. The layout wasn’t working. Daily use felt tight, cluttered, and inefficient. A surface update wouldn’t fix that.

We’re stripping it back to framing to open up the space and remove what’s not serving the homeowners. That starts with the oversized built-in tub and the cramped, frosted-glass shower.

What replaces it is a clean, accessible layout designed around how the clients live today.

Swipe through to see where we’re starting. Demo is next.
