Another safety hazard fixed and another happy customer!

This older home has a crawl space access opening in the floor for plumbing maintenance. The challenge was that the access hole was located underneath a storage shelf, making it awkward and potentially unsafe for the homeowner to reach over when accessing it.

The homeowner was concerned about the risk of falling or accidentally dropping tools into the opening, so we came up with a practical solution: a custom removable hatch door.

We installed side support framing anchored to the concrete floor and built a customized lid to fit the exact height and width of the opening. The result is a secure, easy-to-remove hatch that eliminates the fall hazard while still allowing convenient access to the crawl space.

Safety improved, functionality restored, and one more problem solved. Next up: deck repairs to make the exterior just as safe!

This customer called us back for some backyard step repairs. A big thank you to for another great collaboration!

I learned a lot working on this backyard step replacement project.

The original stairs were rotten, uneven, unstable, and had become a serious safety hazard. We removed the entire structure, properly leveled the area, and installed cement block steps as a much safer and longer-lasting solution.

What started as a simple bathtub replacement turned into a full bathroom refresh—and we’re glad it did.

The homeowner wanted a walk-in shower for easier access, but the space also felt cramped and dark with just one light and a shower curtain closing things in. So we got to work.

We removed the old tub and surround, eliminated the bulky overhead section that was blocking light, and relocated the drain to make way for a clean, bright walk-in shower with clear glass. The difference in openness and light was immediate.

Midway through the project, the homeowner decided to update the wall and trim paint—and from there, it all came together. We replaced the outdated countertop and reoriented the sink so everything now lines up perfectly with the mirror, light fixture, and new medicine cabinet.

The end result: a sleek, bright, and functional bathroom—and another happy repeat customer.

Cracked, leaky sink? We’ve got you covered!
A recent customer accidentally dropped a hair styling tool in their sink and created a hairline crack. Instead of a costly countertop replacement, we carefully measured and sourced a new undermount sink with the exact same dimensions for a seamless fit.
Here’s how we handled it:
• Disconnected the drain plumbing
• Carefully removed the damaged sink without risking the stone countertop (slow and tedious but worth it!)
• Scraped away all old silicone to ensure proper adhesion
• Installed and clamped the new sink overnight
• Returned the next day to reconnect and finish the drain
Another clean, secure install and one happy customer 🙌

-23° won’t stop me!
Heated sweater, heated socks, and wind-blocking layers for the win!

We kicked the day off indoors replacing a broken sink, then moved outside once the sun came out to help this customer solidify and beautify their front step. We removed the old railing and installed a new Vista railing to finish the job.
