I’m incredibly honoured to have received two Gold Awards at the DDA Awards last night for two projects that I’m so proud of!!
Loft Kitchen Reimagined — Gold Award for Kitchen Design
Room to Play — Gold Award for Interior Decorating

What makes this recognition even more meaningful is that the awards are blind judged by a panel of industry peers. To have my work recognized amongst so many talented designers and decorators in our industry is truly an honour.

It was wonderful to finally meet so many members of the DDA in person and to celebrate the incredible talent within our design community.

I’m so grateful to my clients for trusting me with their homes, and to the trades and suppliers who helped bring these projects to life!

A very special milestone for Sarah Atiq Interiors — and definitely a night I won’t forget.

Behind these doors? A very organized escape from the chaos.

Client wanted the pantry hidden so the mess stays contained. Feels fitting right now — summer’s loud in one way or another, whether that’s kids home from school, family visiting, or just life being extra this time of year.
Somehow we’re making it work!

Six years of building homes and spaces across this country I call home!

My dad came to Canada as a teenager and built a career as a businessman. My mom arrived in her twenties and has spent her life as a philanthropist. Canada gave them both the space to build something meaningful — and gave me the same.

I’m sharing this through a kitchen we designed — the heart of the home, and where so much of family life actually happens.

Grateful for every client who’s trusted us with their space, and inspired daily by the incredible Canadian designers who’ve shaped this industry.
