I just love how things reveal themselves when working on a furniture piece! This little beauty was in rough shape. I had thought about sanding and painting the top black but as I started the sanding process something changed…
The original artwork from over 90 years ago started to present itself and some of the history of this amazing cabinet came back in play. The cabinet began to take on a more primitive look and so I chose to keep what was left of the original artwork and preserve it. The mirror still needs to be attached but it is going to be a very unique farmhouse decor piece.

What an incredible Scarecrow Festival! 💙

As a small business owner, I want to say a heartfelt thank you to everyone involved with Festivals of Mahone Bay and especially the volunteers who work tirelessly throughout the year to make these events happen.

From the Scarecrow Festival, pottery market, pie contest, chowder and luncheons, to everything else happening around town, so much time, energy and heart goes into making Mahone Bay such a special place to visit.

Thank you to the Town of Mahone Bay for the beautiful new infrastructure, and a special thank you to Morgan for her tireless work on social media. The festival was marketed fabulously!

At Timeless Made Local Marketplace, more than 40 local artists, makers and vintage curators benefit from the thousands of people these festivals bring to our community. Yes, it makes a difference financially, but even more than that, it’s the smiles, conversations and connections with the people who walk through our doors.
